Mother and Child, Twins in Hands
Wayne Carlick

Family Crest print
This rare framed print is the result of a dream he had of his grandmother and how she represents Wayne's interpretation of  eternal motherhood. Wayne's unique freehand style infuses his prints with an organic texture that has made his prints highly collectible to knowledgeable collectors.

Wayne Carlick
Born to the Tahltan of the Tlingit Nation on October 13th 1958 in the remote community of Atlin, BC. Wayne is a member of the Raven Clan and is from the Xooxhitan House. Wayne began his career in 1992 working with carver Dempsey Bob and later in 1993-97 with James Lewis on several large poles. He also works on masks, bowls, spoons, regalia and prints. In 1998, he made a 35 foot red cedar seagoing canoe. Wayne also leads a dance group that puts on 2-3 performances a day in the summer.
